Done with iPhone 5, Apple Inc. may unveil new iPad, iMac Pro, OS X Mavericks tonight

The new iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 are rumored to feature slimmer designs and pack the A7 chip, which also powers the iPhone 5S.

While iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C did not take the world by storm, as expected, Apple Inc. looks to leverage hype built around its iconic smartphone to aid its other products. A month after unveiling iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, Apple Inc. is all set make some more announcements tonight at an event in San Francisco.

If rumours are to be believed, Apple Inc. has all-new iPad, iMac Pro, and OS X Mavericks in the kitty. Here is all you want to know about it.

Expectations:

iPad 5, iPad Mini 2

The new iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 are rumored to feature slimmer designs and pack the A7 chip, which also powers the iPhone 5S. It is also expected to be packing the all new M7 chip, a motion co-processor.

New Macbook Pro

Macbook Pro laptops is desperately requiring a makeover. This, despite Apple Inc. launching the Haswell-packed Macbook Air in June this year, but so far, there has been no sign of the Macbook Pro. The wait may just be over as this week’s event is set to feature the all new upgraded Macbook Pro laptops featuring Intel’s Haswell processor – promises to prolong battery life, improve speed.

OS X 10.9 Mavericks

Mavericks is expected to launch pre-installed with the Macbook Pro laptop before the end of this month -may ship in a few months. However, Mavericks is expected to go live on the Mac App store either on October 22 or by the end of the month.

New features for the latest OS X include a new maps app, a tabbed finder, iBooks, new look to the calendar, improved Safari, iCloud Keychain, multiple displays and more.
