Stanzawise Explanation of Poem
I.
fog comes……………………………………………………….moves on.
Now, fog has arrived above city where it sits looking over harbour like cat watches over its victim destination, on silent haunches because very few creatures can sit as silently and patiently as cat. This enables them (sitting on haunches) to take off whenever need arises. Finally, after looking over harbour and city, fog then moves on. Fog again is compared to cat that hovers silently, but never stays at one place but keeps on wandering from one place to another.
