ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

i) Assistant Audit Officer: a) Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute b) Desirable Qualifications for the Post of Assistant Audit Officer: Chartered Accountant or cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.

ii) Statistical Investigator Grade – II Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% in Mathematics at 12th standard level: OR Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.

iii) Compiler : Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject.

iv) All other Posts: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

Tier III

SSC CGLE Tier III will be descriptive in nature.It will be conducted in paper and pen mode. The maximum marks of the paper will be 100. The examination includes essay writing, passage writing, letter writing, application writing Candidates will be accessed on the basis of their writing skills Candidates will be required to score 33 percent to qualify for the next round

Tier IV

Skill Test: For the post of Tax Assistants (Central Excise & Income Tax): Data Entry Speed Test (DEST) at 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depression per hour on Computer. The “Data Entry Speed” Skill Test at 2000 (two thousand) key depressions for a duration of 15 (fifteen) minutes will be of qualifying nature. Computer will be provided by the Commission at the Centre/venue notified for the purpose. Candidates shall not be allowed to bring their own Key-board.

The Commission will hold Computer Proficiency Test (CPT), comprising of three modules- Word Processing, Spread Sheet and Generation of Slides, for applicants for the post of Assistant Section Officer of CSS. The CPT will be conducted in the manner decided by the Commission for the purpose. CPT will be of qualifying nature.

EXAM PATTERN

The examination will consist of a Computer based Written Examination (Tier-I), Descriptive Paper (Tier-II) and Typing Test/Skill Test (Tier-III) Examination for the post of Data Entry Operator, Postal Assistant & Sorting Assistant (PA/SA), Lower Division Clerk and Court Clerk.

Tier-I

Written examination consists of Objective Type- Multiple choice questions only. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi for Part-I, III & IV.

Tier-II

(Descriptive Paper) Tier-II Paper of CHSL 2016 will be a descriptive Paper of 100 Marks in ‘Pen and Paper Mode The duration of the paper would be for one hour (20 minutes compensatory time will also be provided to the candidates mentioned in Para 7 above). This paper has been introduced to assess the writing skills of the candidates which is necessary in Government jobs. The Paper would comprise writing of an Essay of 200-250 words and Letter / Application writing of approximately 150-200 words. The minimum qualifying marks in Tier-II would be 33 per cent. The performance in Tier II would be included for preparing merit. The paper will have to be written either in Hindi or in English. Part paper written in Hindi and Part in English will not be evaluated.

Tier-III

Examination Tier-III of the Examination would continue to be the Skill Test / Typing Test which would be of a qualifying nature. Skill Test / Typing Test would be in consonance with the provisions contained in para 12.2 and 12.3 given below. The final merit of the successful candidates would be determined on the basis of total score obtained by them in Tier-I and Tier-II. Skill test for Data Entry Operator: Data Entry Speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depressions per hour on Computer.

Note: 1. There shall be no minimum requirement of chest measurement for Female candidates.

2. Relaxation in height and chest (as the case may be) as mentioned above will be permissible only on production of certificate in the proforma as prescribed in Annexure VIII from the competent authorities of the District where they ordinarily reside.

3. “The relaxation in physical standards (height/chest) once granted at the time of initial appointment in Delhi Police will hold good till the individual concerned remains in Delhi Police.”

4. Those candidates who are declared not qualified in Physical Standards, i.e height and chest, may prefer an appeal, if they so desire, to the appellate authority present on the PET ground. The decision of the appellate authority will be final and no further appeal or representation in this regard will be entertained.

The candidate must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision. 2) They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties. 10(D) Physical Endurance Test Will NOT CARRY ANY MARKS BUT WILL BE OF QUALIFYING/ELIMINATION NATURE.

MEDICAL

Medical standard (For all posts) Eye sight: The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses.
